Why Is Wilson’s Theorem True?

Wilson’s Theorem: If p is a prime number then p divides (p-1)! + 1

Wilson’s Theorem

Recall a prime number p is a number which is greater than 1 and is divisible by ONLY itself and 1.

For example, 2, 3, 5, 7 and 11 are all primes. The numbers 9 and 22 are not primes.
